Captured by an intrepid photographer we get a rare glimpse of seven reindeers running in herd formation across an incredible northern sky known as Aurora. Stars shining bright while streaks of color looking like silk flowing in the wind caress the hard cold snow. That such beauty can even exist is inspiring and heartwarming.
An aurora, sometimes referred to as polar lights, northern lights, is a natural light display in the Earth’s sky, predominantly seen in high latitude regions. Auroras are a result of disturbances in the magnetosphere caused by solar wind.
I’m left wondering where are the Reindeers heading to or from. Maybe their haste is a response to the presence of the photographer. Godspeed.
