Life in the tropics has its delights. Summer breeze, full moons and blue oceans that will make you smile. In order to keep our body temperature pleasant and our electric bill livable, we engage in drinking all kinds of yummy stuff to help cool us down. Here was an afternoon protest against the heat that turned out delightful and very pretty, if I may say so myself.

One and a half cup strong Yaucono coffee ( or whichever coffee you have).

Add Kahlua, as much as you like, while the coffee is still warm.

Mix well.

Allow to cool.

Freeze.

Toss if food processor with maybe two cubes of ice and grind away.

Serve. Swirl some chocolate on top! The perfect cure for summer heat. What’s on your plate?
