An alarming article showed itself on my newsfeed yesterday. I tend to be vigilant of holiday news since that is when demagogues and thieves work hardest to “pass one by us.” Well there it was. As a part of the military defense package and Coronavirus legislation a bill has been attached related to copyright laws with some changes that would close down free speech. What’s left of it. A truly Orwellian move.

This law would close down, kill and bury the political movement know in the US as The Resistance. This is not one organization, but millions of American citizens who have made it their mission to restore democracy to the United States. They demand rule of law and the upholding of the Constitution as the founders intended, not the Oligarchs version of it.
Of course, a challenge to the Supreme Court would most likely repel such an insult to free speech but why are legislators, paid by us, attempting to pass illegal laws. They stand of the wrong side of what is moral, ethical and legal. We have a band of thieves posing as elected officials writing laws that protect the interest of special groups instead of the citizens who elected them. Breach of contract. The fascist state is so entrenched that they now show themselves with total disregard. Fight for your rights or lose them. Seriously, get on the phone and give then hell.
