Nine dog’s have rescued me throughout my life. The first time was a thundering day and as I drove down Balderioty de Castro Avenue my eyes caught the terrified glimpse of a dog in the middle of six lanes. If she moved, she died and she knew it. My mind took a back seat and my instincts took me to find a spot where I could turn the car around and find her. Under pouring rain I convinced her to get into the back floor of my car and off we went towards a life of travels and adventures. I named her Beba. She was known and loved by many people. For reasons too personal to mention I have always thought she saved my life during very trying times. She gave me strength I did not know I had. She was white, kind of a medium sized poodle, and very beautiful once she was cleaned up. Beba lived a very long life and was loved by many. I remember her every day.

Since Beba, I have been rescued by Pancho, Chatito, Chewey, Sugar, Papo, ZsaZsa, Hope, Pancho2, and Chary. They each deserve to have their stories told. We started by telling the story of my beloved Beba. More soon.
