Capricorn Science recently took a drive down the mystery lane of physics which rendered known facts about the following subjects which can be accessed by entering the title in the search blank at the right-hand side of the main page:
<> Learning the components of light: electricity and magnetism.
<> Let there be light.
<> Is time real?
<> What shape is the known universe?
<> Is it possible to see the past?
<> Everything has already happened.
<> Finding the edge of the Universe.
Studying and writing about science has changed how I view everything. The ultimate significance that every single thing we do is registered in space-time and will continue to exist in reality as long as the Universe exists is enough to send a serious chill down your back. Sure did mine. Every good, bad, and ugly event in history will continue to happen endlessly. This is true enough for an existential breakdown. Toss away the second chances offered by Buddhism’s reincarnation. Toss away the heaven and hell offered by Christianity. All these cults are band-aids seeking control while promising to appease our terror of death, also known as, Terror Management. The stone-cold truth is that all of our actions and events are permanently, unchangeably, set in stone known as space-time, within our known universe.
Whoever coined ” the truth will set us free” was right on the money. Instead of focusing on terror-management solutions to our no-way-out death, we could turn our attention and actions to the quality of life we want to repeat endlessly. A hard-core look at changing our ways so that our actions would not need forgiveness and instead live a life worthy of eternal repetition. We each need to face ourselves and break free from our fear of death and embrace the truth with dignity and valor.
We have discovered, after all, that we are immortal. Just know this. Own it.
