Farinelli was the stage name of Carlo Maria Micheangelo Nicola Broschi, a celebrated Italian castrato singer in the 18th century and one of the greatest singers in the history of opera. Farinelli has been described as having soprano vocal range and sang the highest note customary at the time C6. (1705-82).
The 1994 movie production of his life titled, Farinelli, is truly extraordinary and worthy of your time.

Another movie and soundtrack worth owning. The soundtrack mixes the voices of a soprano and a tenor to extend and expand Farinelli’s voice range. It’s awesome. Glad you enjoyed it.
