In short, space-time would contain the entire history of reality, with each past, present or future event occupying a clearly determined place in it, from the very beginning and forever. While reading physics and astrophysics journals and articles the percentage of 99% came up as the probability that the above depiction of history, time, and space-time is accurate. Further reading material demonstrates that the future, therefore the past cannot be changed. It is what it is.
At first, I thought that the past and eventual future is a reflection of some sort that could be seen from a distance ( another planet ) with the help of the speed of light aimed at a particular moment in space-time. Similar to the images recorded in movies where the images remain but the real elements are elsewhere. Continued reading clarified my misconception. Each moment is real within each space-time segment. Each event in space-time is always and forever real within each instant.
Your life and mine occupy a segment of space-time within the forever space-time.
Reflecting upon this 99% probability, I was overcome with pain at the knowledge that every horror we have inflicted upon ourselves and upon others continues to happen in real-time, their time while very much alive. No way out.
