Make a paste of fresh garlic, salt, pepper and oregano mixed into olive oil. After washing and patting dry poke the ham with a knife the width of your index finger. Poke the ham deep and stuff each opening with the paste. All around, Don’t be shy. Rub the left over on the outside of the ham. A 6 lb ham should cook for 3.5 hours at 350 degrees keeping a glass with water in the oven to keep the meat moist. Remove the water. Increase the temperature to 375 degrees for 15 to 30 extra minutes until the skin is toasted. Allow to rest for 30 minutes after removing from the oven.
