The Old Cliche about making a house a home is true.

It takes work, It takes skill. It takes a special wanting of something more.

Life is both long and short depending on which day of the week it is, and how things are coming along, but feeling special is about being special. Sounds like a mix of words but it’s more. You can dine on a paper plate. You can dine straight out of the can and do without the paper plate, but my question is why not put in a little effort and treat yourself and others like they mean something.

So yes, housework is work but so is everything else that we love and want. Beautiful hair is not natural ten days after you are born. Great skin may have some help from your genes but neglect it and it’s gone. So, your home is your outer skin, in my opinion, Maybe a couple of sweet touches will make your life more beautiful. It sure has worked for me. Just the rambling of a feminist home dweller.
