In this particular case, there has been an uproar of protest and demands that this matter be reversed. The blatant acquiescence came from our elected officials by providing lame band-aid speeches. Once these elected officials realized that their acquiescence will cost them their office, they got off their sorry butts and started to do something about the situation.
