Baked Manicotti Delight

Ingredients:

Box of Manicotti Shells

Package of String Cheese

Package of Mozzarella Cheese

Package of Parmesan Cheese

Container vegetable or Chicken broth

One jar of Prego Marinara Sauce

Your choice of cooked chicken, ham, sausages.

Italian Seasoning

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Oven-proof container. I prefer glass.

Place one piece of string cheese in each manicotti shell and place in your pan side by side. Depending on what you bought, you should end up with ten or twelve.

Pour half the bottle of Marinara sauce over the Manicotti.

Cover with cooked chicken or your choice of meat. I used chicken.

Pour half the container of Broth over the Manicotti and Marinara Sauce.

Cover the Manicotti with a full package of mozzarella.

Add half a package of Parmesan cheese.

Sprinkle with Italian Herbs. I don’t use an herb mix. Instead, I sprinkled the platter with Thyme, Basil, Parsley, and Garlic. This trick resulted in a burst of delicious flavor!

Bake in your prepared oven for 30 minutes.

Once served, scoop and add a couple of spoonfuls of the sauce from the pan.

Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
