Creating a happiness portal

I grew up but never stopped playing house. Tables set in pink, blue, white, green you name it. That’s me. Place settings with custom menu’s by each plate so guest’s an droll in anticipation. This is one of the traditions of civilized society that I most enjoy. Etched stemware, old rescued silverware, mother of pearl handled flatware. Antique napkins with someone else’s initials engraved. Don’t forget great food and a lot of wonderful wine. The hostess’s joy of hearing, seeing and feeling their gusto during this spec of time. Sometimes we can create a portal where everything is safe and good for a little while. This is one of mine.
