This little recipe is a gem. Never again eat jar bought Alfredo Sauce which is loaded with trans fat and make-believe food. This recipe is quick, delicious and great to serve company.
1/2 cup ( 1 stick) butter ( do not attempt to use margerine)
1 and 1/2 cup of Parmesan Cheese
1 cup of heavy cream
1/4 cup dehydrated chopped parsley
In a small saucepan melt butter over medium heat. Do not allow it to brown, just melt.
Gradually, stir in Parmesan Cheese, mixing. If it clumps a little, don’t worry because the heavy cream will unclump it.
Stir in Heavy Cream, stirring constantly. just to boiling . Remove from heat. Stir in parsley.
I like tossing the pasta into the sauce since the coating is better and flavors more evenly distributed, making every bite a yum.
