Yesterday, I read a meme on FB listing rights and wrongs in our society. Small letters written on the right-hand corner stated, “The Resistance.”
As if someone had pinched me, a strong sense of sisterhood and brotherhood came to life in recognition of a fellow resistor.
We are many. We are legion. We persist. We will conquer against all odds. Know that. Embrace that—the Resistance.

The opposite of complicit.
Non acquiescent.
Fearful yet Fearless.
Committed.
Self-Defense.
Rage.
Power.
Commitment.
Freedom.
Knowledge.
Life.
Time.
Love.
Slaves.

Wrong.

I found my wings. I can now fly free. I resist. I live. I breathe because I dare.
