Meher Baba was an Indian spiritual master who claimed that he was an Avatar-God in human form. Born in 1894 in Poona, India to Irani Zoroastrian parents. His spiritual transformation began when he was 19 years old and lasted for seven years (Wikipedia).
He declared that he was the Avatar of the age. Although he maintained vocal silence for most of his life, his teachings spread worldwide, notably through his extensive travels and publications.
