No need to say anything else except CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF US. It’s been blood, sweat, and tears, but we made it.

“You should not go to bed angry with your spouse,” they say. “You should not go grocery shopping when you are hungry,” they say. The “don’t do” list is endless and tiresome—such gibberish.
Well, maybe I should not engage in writing Political Satire for Capricorn Science when I’m scorching mad. Objectivity is dammed; my blood pressure demands that I spill it.
For the second time in my longish lifetime, I have readied myself to welcome a woman President of the United States. When Hillary Clinton lost the presidential election, I was shocked and devastated. There would never be another Hillary. Even President Carter spoke out, calling the election “stolen.”
Some people were as perplexed and hurt as I was, but a vast majority of people who sit on the same side of the aisle as I do were adamant that “I should get over it.” I had never encountered nastier, filthier-tongued people in my life. And I’m used to being the only woman in a conference room. I’ve heard it all! With mud thrown at me up to my ass, I fought back.
Enter Trump into the world stage and gag; it was disgusting and dangerous. I wrote a 20-piece Political Satire Column for Capricorn Science depicting his atrocities. A million people died of Covid, instigated, orchestrated, and implemented by Trump. You know I speak the truth.
The four-year election cycle was coming to a head. Hillary declined the third try at the presidency. Joe Biden took the spot and won. I’ve never been a Biden fan because he wasn’t ‘woman’ enough to fit my needs. He sided with men too often while we were left to sit in the dark. I have no compulsion to love those who do not love me. With time and good work, he won me over, and he has my gratitude and forgiveness for leaving us women in the dark too often.
Kamala Harris played her hand. She pushes Biden out and takes charge as the presidential candidate of the USA, probably the most racist country in the world. So okay, let’s do this.
She is a lioness. Savvy, daring, ambitious and unafraid. The only problem is that, once again, a perfect candidate falls on her face with no opportunity, no real opportunity to complete their run.
How do I explain what I see? It’s like running legless. You just can’t make the finish line, even if you run with your hands.
Why doesn’t the United States, the great experiment in democracy, engage in direct democracy? Because the great experiment is a sham. It works as long as it pleases the rich, nowadays called the Oligarchs or wealth hoarders. Under direct democracy, Hillary Clinton would have been declared President of the United States, punto. The Electoral College put an end to that song.
Ronald Reagan dismantled the Fairness Doctrine Act, which regulated, rightfully so, how elections treated candidates and how media treated candidates, and it kept the door shut for foreign intervention or ownership of US media. With those hurdles eliminated the country, our country became a heaven for every dick and harry to buy media and give it for free to their interested candidate, aka Donald Trump. There is no winning against these odds.
We’ve had every opportunity, meaning time and controls, to reenact and amend the Fairness Doctrine and failed even to mention it.
So I’m shocked that everyone is shocked that Kamala Harris did not win the presidency. The anomaly in this scenario was that Biden could get past all these obstacles. Maybe he won, thanks to Hillarys voters?
So here we are, holding our lack of self-preservation in our hands.
Like me, hate me. I call it as I see it.
Thank you for reading.
