If the United States succeeds in confirming Joe Biden’s Presidency it would be the first time in history that such an event happened without engaging in a long, bloody war.
Let’s start by acknowledging that all wars about about money and land grabs. Huge money and power is to be gained by the war machinery.
World War II was the deadliest military conflict in history. An estimated total of 70-85 million people perished, or about 3% of the world population (est. 2.3 billion).
Hitler’s invasion of Poland in September, 1939 drove Great Britain and France to declare war on Germany, marking the beginning of World War II. Over the next six years the conflict would take more lives than any previous war.
The war between USSR and Germany began on June 22, 1941, with the German invasion of the Soviet Union. The war in the Pacific began on Dec. 8, 1941 when Japan attacked the American Naval Base at Pearl Harbor.
World War II war was fought over ideology: Fascism.
The other element we must consider while analyzing the US current situation is the Cold War. It was a period of geopolitical tension between the Soviet Union and the United States and their response to allies, the Eastern Block and the Western Block, after World War II. The Cold War started in 1947 and ended in 1991. The Cold War is the offspring of WWII.
Historians have identified several causes that led to the outbreak of the Cold War; ideological conflict between the United States and the Soviet Union, the emergence of nuclear weapons and the fear of Communism in the United States.
These two events brings us to the situation we have today, right now in the United States. Fascism has entered the American political bloodstream guided by our foreign enemy Russia. Nikita Khrushchev’s words ring loud and clear as he said: ” We do not have to invade the United States, we will destroy it from within.” The Russian plan was in place and they have nearly succeeded in taking over the entire country with a 40 year plan to infiltrate the Republican party, since they would be more inclined to participate in any money grab available, even Fascism. We have seen first hand the events that have unfolded with Reagan, Bush, Bush, Jr. and now the ultimate Machiavellian prince, Donald John Trump. There is no need to recount the details of their thieving and law breaking agenda.
The Republican Party has created every possible roadblock to avoid a fair election. The American people have risen to the challenge and are in the process of cutting the head of the snake. It is being done legally, respectfully and without one shot being fired.
If the two legged legacy of WW2 and the Cold War evolved into a Third World War we would be finished. Humanity and civilization as we know it would be blown right off this planet.
So we celebrate because it is much more than an election, it is a window to save this beloved planet and ourselves. Think about it for one dreadful second. Two superpowers engaged in a nuclear conflict would spell out everyone’s death.
So I write this with hope and sincerity of heart, that we may restore Democracy and control the Oligarchs that try to enslave us. We must address our differences and just live the lives we have been given.
